On November 19th, 2018, we over at Terrabyte Studios partnered with the Media Identification company, Gracenote. Gracenote provides advanced media identification, management, discovery and enrichment solutions that enhance consumers’ music and video experiences, drive commerce and open new revenue streams. Gracenote maintain and license an internet-accessible database containing information about contents of audio compact discs and vinyl records. Also provides software and metadata to businesses that enable their customers to manage and search digital media. In addition to its CD track-identification system, Gracenote operates a digital file identification service which allows digital music files to be identified, and a media management service for the generation of playlists, and recommendation of music. Customers include the biggest names in the consumer electronics (Bose, Panasonic, Philips, Sony), mobile (Samsung, Sony Ericsson, Musicwave), automotive, software and internet industries (iTune, Media Go, Sonicstage, Spotify, etc.). The company’s partners in the entertainment community include major music publishers and labels, prominent independents and movie studios.
